[Health Information] Taipei City's 3rd Annual "Free Migrant Worker Health Check" Event to be Held at Taipei Main Station Lobby on August 16th!

To care for the health of migrant worker friends, the Taipei City Government's Department of Labor will hold the 3rd "Free Migrant Worker Health Check Event" of the year on August 16th. Whether you work in Taipei City or not, as long as you have a valid residence permit, you can participate for free. The event will offer consultations across various medical specialties and occupational health advice. Migrant workers are welcome to seize this opportunity and attend! Event Information and Participation Event Time: August 16th (Sunday) 12:30 – 15:00 Event Location: 1st Floor Lobby, TRA Taipei Main Station Participants: Migrant workers legally residing in Taiwan (regardless of work location) Documents to Bring: Please bring identification proving legal residency (such as ARC or original passport) for on-site registration. Early Bird Gift: The first 20 individuals to complete their health check will receive a voucher for a 15-minute free blind massage experience at "Ding Ding Massage Corner" inside Taipei Main Station! Professional Health Check and Consultation Services Multi-specialty Free Clinic: General physical examination, dentistry, otolaryngology, internal medicine, gynecology, psychosomatic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine. Popular Check-ups: Ophthalmology and optometry, abdominal ultrasound (to help maintain vision and internal organ health). Occupational Safety and Rights: A team from the Department of Environmental and Occupational Medicine at National Taiwan University Hospital will be present to provide work health consultations, guidance on preventing occupational injuries, and promotion of labor rights. Convenient Transportation, All Migrant Workers Welcome Taipei City currently has nearly 50,000 migrant workers, the majority of whom are domestic caregivers. The Taipei City Government has been promoting this free clinic since 2004, having served over 20,000 individuals to date. As Taipei Main Station is very conveniently located, the event is open to migrant workers from other counties and cities. Everyone is encouraged to spread the word and pay attention to their health together!
