Hon Hai held an investor conference on the 12th, explaining that the third quarter has entered the traditional peak season, and operations are expected to gradually heat up. For the full year's operations, driven by strong demand for AI servers and growth in consumer smart products, a strong growth outlook is maintained.
Terry Gou, Group Chairman and CEO, stated that benefiting from CSP clients' continuous expansion of capital expenditure and the mass production of AI cabinets, revenue from cloud and network products in the third quarter is expected to increase quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year, with high double-digit growth. Consumer smart products are entering the traditional peak season, and third-quarter revenue is also expected to grow significantly compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year.
Gou pointed out that Hon Hai's advantage in the AI field lies in providing a one-stop solution. With the continuous expansion of AI cabinet market share, VR cabinets will begin mass production in the third quarter, and AI cabinet revenue and shipment volume are expected to achieve high double-digit growth, with annual shipments growing by more than double.
In addition, revenue from switches above 800G is expected to double annually, and CPO all-optical switches will also begin mass production and shipment in the third quarter as planned.
Looking ahead to next year, Gou stated that customer demand for AI capacity remains strong, and capital expenditure is expected to continue to increase, with expansion plans in Taiwan, the United States, Mexico, and Vietnam. In response to localization needs in the United States, R&D and manufacturing capabilities in Texas, Wisconsin, Ohio, and California will be continuously expanded. The group does not plan any direct equity financing and will maintain a sound capital structure with funds required for future operations and expansion.
Gou mentioned that overseas deployment in electric vehicles continues to advance. The collaborative model with Mitsubishi in Japan is expected to begin deliveries in the second half of the year, and the Polish EMP EV cooperation project is also ongoing. A joint venture charging pile factory with Saudi Arabia is expected to commence production in the fourth quarter.
In the Taiwan market, the new vehicle model CAVIRA, based on MODEL C, began deliveries in July. The new factory in Kaohsiung has also started mass production of MODEL T and batteries for electric buses.
Hon Hai also announced that the Hon Hai Technology Day will be held from October 30th to 31st at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. This year, the scale has been expanded for the first time, combining the first and fourth floors of the Nangang Exhibition Center for large exhibition areas, which will fully showcase the technological achievements of the group's three major intelligent platforms integrated with AI.
