According to the latest news from the Central Weather Administration, the 18th typhoon of the year, 'Saudel,' officially formed at noon on August 19th. Everyone, quickly update yourselves with the latest weather information and make arrangements and preparations in advance!
📍 Latest Updates on Typhoon 'Saudel':
Current Location: Currently located near Guam, moving northwest (towards the Ryukyu Islands). It is still over 3,000 kilometers away from Taiwan and currently has no direct impact.
Typhoon Intensity: Currently a light typhoon, but there is a high probability of developing into a moderate typhoon in the coming days, and it might even strengthen into a severe typhoon.
Impact Time: It is estimated to be closest to Taiwan next Thursday and Friday (August 27th and 28th). However, there is still significant uncertainty in its path, requiring continuous observation.
🌧️ This Week's Weather Overview (From now until 8/24):
Although the typhoon is not yet close, due to the influence of the southwest monsoon carrying moisture, Taiwan's atmospheric environment is quite unstable these days:
Central and Southern Regions: Rainfall will significantly increase, with a chance of localized heavy rain or torrential downpours (friends south of Taichung, please pay special attention!).
Other Regions: Mostly cloudy with scattered brief showers or thunderstorms.
Special Attention: Be aware of severe weather phenomena such as lightning strikes, strong gusts, and sudden heavy rainfall that may accompany the weather.
💡 RtiTalk's Kind Reminder:
Please remember to bring rain gear when going out for work, school, or shopping recently.
The weather will remain highly variable until the weekend. For safety, please avoid activities in mountainous areas or by the sea in the near future!
Stay tuned to RtiTalk for continuous updates on the latest weather and typhoon information.
Wishing everyone a smooth workday and safe travels! ❤️
